Mary McGillicuddy

I heard the sad news of Mary’s death when I called to the nursing home this morning. I worked with her dear Joanne in the Bank and Mary has been writing me the most beautiful letters over the years. She was a brilliant writer and I’ve kept most of her letters. They made me cry!
She wrote so warmly of all her children and how good you have been to her.
May she rest in peace.

My thoughts and prayers are with you all. My mother Kathleen loved to talk about her Irish cousins. I had the privilege of staying with Mary years ago in a visit to Dublin. She took me out to the Abbey Theatre for a lovely night out

My sincere condolences to the family of Mary. We grew up in Vancouver hearing many stories of the McGillicuddy family and cousins back in Ireland, always sort of imagined you just down the road a bit. Everyone had nice things to say about Mary, may she rest in peace.
