Barney, so sorry to hear of the loss of Mary (Beanie) she was my boss in work for a while and taught me a thing or two.
I remember she gave me strawberry plants many years ago and instructed me how to put them in the ground and i had a fair few for about 5 years.
She was a real lady who was very fair.

I first met Mary during our 5 years in St. Mary's Secondary School, New Ross - so many Marys so from then onwards she was Finny. A kind, considerate and gentle person.

Rest in peace Finny - it is a privilege to have known you over the decades since we were young teenagers. We didn't enjoy the Irish classes back then but now it is Gaeilge that best expresses my prayer for you -

"Ceol na n-aingeal go gcloise tú agus leaba i measc na naomh go raibh agat".

I was shocked to hear of Mary's passing. Deepest sympathy to all of the McGrath family of your sad loss. Rest in peace Mary.

I worked closely with Mary over many years and as a colleague she was always patient and generous with her time and skills. As a friend she was gentle and gracious and a great listener.
