My deepest sympathy to you Tommie Laura and Susan on the loss of your beloved Mary. I have many fond memories of Mary during my long hospital stays in 78/79.Her empathy and outstanding kindness to me during these times have stayed with me over the years and will never be forgotten .Sorry i only heard your sad news today 20th sept. Rest in peace dear Mary your passing is this worlds loss .

I was so saddened to hear of the passing of Mary. My heartfelt condolence to the McHugh and Flesk families.I had the pleasure of working with Mary in my student days and she was such a mentor and beautiful and caring nurse. She also took care of my brother while on St Nichols ward for over 3 months following an accident and was a great support to him while he did his leaving cert exam in hospital.You will never be forgotten. RIP.

We had the most enjoyable times at hospital gatherings with herself and Tommie over the years.

It was a joy to work with Mary on the ward. She had all the qualities of an excellent nurse: loyal, dependable, efficient with a reassuring presence and a shoulder to lean on when needed.

Mary stood out in my mind from the first time I met her in Galway hospital.
I knew and worked under Mary’s skillful, experienced wise and kind leadership as a student Nurse to her RN guidance.


Years later I met Laura and even later Susan , evidencing another unsurprising fact about Mary, Mary was a great and loving parent whose children adored her.
Mary was an earth angel who touched and blessed the lives of countless souls by her presence . and huge heart.
I know flights of angels are singing her
home.
