I was so very sorry to hear of Mary’s passing, I worked with Mary in ALG for a number of years, she was a very caring and kind lady. She really was one of a kind and so generous with her time and knowledge, she will be sorely missed. Sincere condolences to Mary’s family, may she rest in peace.

I am very sorry to hear of the passing of Mary and my condolences to her family and friends. I had the honour and privilege of working with Mary on the Irish Funds MMF Working Group for several years. Mary was extremely helpful, professional and knowledgeable, with a vast well of experience to rely on. She was also very witty and personable and a pleasure to deal with. Mary was involved in the IFSC and the funds industry from the early days and the industry owes her a debt of gratitude for service over the years. She will be fondly remembered at Irish Funds and sadly missed. Our deepest sympathies on behalf of the Irish Funds MMF WG.

My sincere condolences to all Mary's family at her premature passing. We worked together for many years. I once again enjoyed her wit & wisdom recently just pre-Covid in a few more lovely chats. Her on-going dedication to her professional life was remarkable despite her health challenges in recent years. A true professional. May she Rest In Peace.

I was deeply saddened to learn of Mary's passing today. I had the good fortune to work with Mary at A&L for a number of years where she was nothing but kind and generous to me as a newly qualified solicitor many years ago. She was also extremely kind when my mother passed away & spoke with such sincere feeling for you, her beloved family. A fond memory I have of her is a trip we made to London and her wry and witty remarks for the duration of our time there. I still smile when I think of it. She was one of a kind and had a special integrity, honesty and way of being in the world. It was a privilege to have known her. May she rest in peace.

On behalf of all the partners and everyone in A&L Goodbody I want to express our deep condolences to you and your extended family. Mary was a true believer in family and spoke of you and your parents often to her friends in ALG. Like you, we will miss her terribly. She was a kind person, dedicated to her work, her colleagues and her clients. She was a person of huge integrity and loyalty. She always looked out for others, particularly those who needed a helping hand.
I joined the firm as a trainee with Mary back in 1988. She was much wiser and worldly than the rest of us in those days having worked in the CRO for a few years. She was so generous with her knowledge and experience.
We had many laughs over the years and Mary’s wit and insight was always right on point. She was a consummate professional in every way. She will be solely missed by us and we have benefitted greatly from knowing and working with her.

We know however that the greater loss is yours - we pray you will find comfort and strength in coming to terms with Mary’s passing all too early from this life.

Dear Cathy, John, Brian and Marcus

Our A&L Goodbody team had the good fortune of Mary acting as our boss for over 10 years and we couldn’t have asked for a better one.

Mary was a true lady in every sense of the word and was kind to everyone who met her, humans and pets alike!

She created deep personal bonds with everyone who interacted with her because of her open, supportive nature. There will never be another Mary, that’s for sure. The pain of her absence will be heavily felt.

She always spoke about how good her family were to her and we are terribly sorry for your loss.
