I am deeply saddened by the news of Mary’s passing. I fondly remember Mary’s kindness during my visits to Carrignafoy and our many chats in the snug in the Rob Roy. My thoughts and prayers are with Jacinta, Claire, Ber, Ger, Jim, Stephen and your extended family as you celebrate your Mam’s life and mourn her passing.

Both families go back a very long way, Rob Roy Bar in particular comes to mind, and indeed all the McNicholas Family were always spoken of with kindness and held in very high regard within our household. I'm so very sorry to hear this news. Jim took me to meet Mary in the nursing home, she took us for a walk around the gardens and sang us a lovely song. We had a wonderful afternoon together and I'll always cherish the memory of meeting Mary.
