Aunty Mary was a lovely and kind natured lady that I will remember very fondly. It gives me some peace of mind to know she is with her sister, my mother Breda now.

I was very sad as was my family to hear of the passing of your Mother. I have very fond memories of her as a strong and caring person. She was there for my mother in her darkest hour and she will always be appreciated by our family. My thoughts and prayers are with you even though I am away and can't be there. Nana Mary was a woman like no other, she was the kindest, most special woman and she never failed to make me laugh. So many great memories that will be cherished. She was the most stylish nanny and great nanny I knew that would light up the room when she walked in, one in a million! Mary was my late Mum, Maureen Bayle's best friend and neighbour. The times I had to jump the back wall to find the two of them sitting around the kitchen table drinking tea and coffee by the bucket.
