My father, Richard (named after Dick Merne) is Mary’s first cousin and Daddy and Mary were such good friends.
Mary ALWAYS remembered my birthday, even as recently as December 2021.
Mary beautifully crafted the ring cushion for my wedding in 2009.
My heart goes out to Shelley and I am so sorry that I cannot attend the funeral today but I will be watching it live in Portmarnock, North Co. Dublin.
Mary is now at rest and in a beautiful place.
