Our deepest and most sincere sympathies to Ned Banks and the Morrissey family on the passing of Mary. She was a truly remarkable woman and a very dear cousin and friend to my father Frank.
They shared such fond memories of their childhood together at home in Clarina, and Mary’s loyalty as a friend never wavered, keeping in constant touch over the phone from Chicago throughout the years and later as she made her plans to retire back home in Ireland. Knowing she was back on Irish soil and close to her roots meant a great deal to my father, May she rest in peace.

RIP Mary. So, many wonderful memories of Mary. Truly a very special person. So, glad I got to visit with her when I was in Ireland last. My condolences to all her family who were so loving and kind to her. She had lots of family welcoming her home.

Mary was at a part of the Conmy Clan in Chicago-she attended all the family gatherings and always looked glamorous.

When I visited her in Caherass NH she always described me as family which made me realise the bigger meaning of the word family; the
Family we are born into and the family that welcomes us in, embraces us and supports us.

Sad to hear of Mary’s passing. She was like our Fairy Godmother growing up in Chicago - family parties, trips to the toy store and Mary took me to see my first movie in a theatre. May you rest in peace Mary - hope there is a good card game started for you with the old gang.
