I have lovely memories of Mary from when I was young as our parents were great friends and we visited Puddingfield regularly and Barronstown in later years.
Mary was such a lovely person always visited when she was home and on Christmas and important occasions a lovely card and letter would always arrive from Mary.
May her gentle soul Rest in Peace and may tou all take comfort in knowing that she is reunited with her beloved Johnny and dear parents John and Aggie and brother Johnny.

So sorry to hear of the sad passing of Mary, a lovely lady with a beautiful smile and a gorgeous Irish lilt. I had the pleasure of getting to know Mary when we worked together for a number of years as part of the Laura Ashley team. What you saw is what you got, no silly games, said it as it was with total honesty. I had the utmost respect for her. The world is a poorer place for her passing. RIP lovely Mary. xx

I was very saddened to receive this news from mutual friends who spent many happy days of our youth working together in Woolworths. Mary was so much fun to work with, very friendly to everyone and would be described as “the salt of the earth”.
Mary moved to Wales and we never seemed to be in Tipp at the same time as the years flew by.
I haven’t seen Mary for 50years or more.
