Seems like the end of sn era...Many the day we spend outside Hanrahans pub in the vokeswagon with a bottle of red lemonade each and a packet of marrietta ... seemed like it lasted for hours.. with a football game around the yard while Paddy , Monnie and the men did a bit of bar stool farming. .. memories are great. A gentle lady that was a central part of the community in Ballinamult. Mary had a skill to be able to connect with all ages, and had a wide knowledge of all local history and the people of the area. She had a great sense of humour and a welcome for all to Hanrahans Bar, a place she loved and where she hosted many nights of music song and dance. A true gentle soul.
