I am so sorry to hear of the death of your beautiful mother Moya. She was one of the kindest people I ever met. She was so supportive to me during my husbands illness & loss. She helped many people. Thinking if you all at this very sad time.

I remember Moya attending the Mercy Convent Sligo as did her sister Una and her late sisters Aine and Brid. I remember the McGowan family as a lovely family as their parents Terence and Winefred were. May Moya rest in peace.

Moya, Una & Aine were pals in my teenage years growing up in Calry & the memories of the Hops in Calry Hall, the Silver Slipper in Strandhill, the Rainbow in Glenfarne, the Blue Haven in Kilty & the fun we had will always bring Moya's memory right back into focus. She was the oldest of our gang & the most sensible but that never stopped her joining in, taking a chance & bringing us all along with her on some of the most memorable journeys of my life.
Bless & Comfort you all in her loss but rejoice in the many memories she has left with you all.

I have such fond memories of your Mum both when we were growing up in Sligo and then again when we lived in Belfast. It’s not that long ago that I met her randomly in Sligo and we had such a lovely chat…….she hadn’t changed a bit.
