Mary Neary

We met Mary in Kefalonia quite a few years ago and she left a lasting impression on us, one of a lovely, gentle and kind lady. The saying goes that your children are the legacy you leave to this world, and Mary you left such a beautiful legacy, you will live on in the kind, gentle and thoughtful children you leave behind. We will keep you all in our prayers. Love to you all at this sad time.

I have fond memories of Mary calling to visit my Granny when I was younger. Mary always took time to ask how I was and that continued for years after. Every time I’d pass the house, we’d stop to have a catch up and Mary was always interested in what I was up to in life. The lane won’t be the same without the lady in the first house.

Very sorry to hear of Mary’s passing. I have fond memories of visiting her and Tommy with Dad as a child to collect concrete slabs. She always stopped for a chat when cycling past us too, and one day she finally called in for the cup of tea we were always offering her..
