My condolences and sympathy to husband James, daughter, Deidre, sons, John, Michael, and Ronan, extended family members, former colleagues and friends.
Mary’s passing brought great sadness to so many, especially those she worked with and those she taught at Scariff Community College.
I first met Mary as a student in 1968 at SCC. She was a genuine lady with only the best in mind for her students.
Later as a colleague in SCC and during my time as Headmaster, she was amazing in her energy and support of the work at the college ensuring that students got every support.
I feel very fortunate to be to able to say, that Mary was an exceptional friend and colleague.
May her gentle soul rest in peace.
