Mary is a sad , stylish loss to Chapel Street and Bantry. It was wonderful to see her back at home and enjoying every minute of every day . We all discussed how we admired her enthusiasm for everything and resolved to be like her if at all possible .And to look gorgeous as well!!! As I watched Fr Joe saying mass though the streaming service how I wished we could be there to honour this true Bantry girl on her last 'journey' or even to line Chapel Street under the current restrictions. But it was not to be .So Rest in Peace Mary . I really hope you will have a big catch up with Ella ,Esther ,Paula,Teresa ,Fr Michael ,Sr Trinita and Denis McCarthy and have a great chat about everything.

She was a presence in our lives from early childhood into middle age. Growing up, we were jealous of Cian for having the soundest Godparent.
As adults we really got to appreciate her wit, but especially her kindness.
