My sincere condolences to Joe, John, Pat, Brendan and Anne Marie, the extended O’Connor family and staff members past and present.

Mrs. O’Connor was a great woman who showed kindness, generous, dedicated to anything she did, worked hard and expected everyone to do the same which helped us all in life - it prepared us for todays world. She was also great to give good advice and treated us all as family when we worked for her.

The Mrs and the Boss were good people and we all have such fond memories of them both. They were a great team working from dawn to dusk, always insisting on quality rather than quantity. They helped a lot of people over the years and gave employment and many a great start in life.

We all have personal memories of them - they both will be missed but I'm sure are still watching over everyone at peace. Keep all those wonderful memories and they will help to ease the pain of loss.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the O’Connor family during this difficult time.

My most admired memory of mrs O connor was how she gave eveyone and each member of staff the chance of having a job and making a career for most people. It was with deep sadness that we read about Mrs O'Connor's passing. We remember her with great fondness. She was an extremely lovely lady who always supported local businesses. During my time as Secretary of the Street Association you knew you could always depend on her and Anne Marie for their support. She particularly loved Parnell Street and we loved her. Deepest sympathy to the extended O’Connor and Browne families on the sad passing of the legend of a woman who was Mrs. O’Connor and a true matriarch who taught me a strong work ethic when I worked in Parnell St. shop many years ago.
Mrs. O’Connor gave us great advice when we were getting married and we still have her wedding present all these years later.
We fondly recall how Pat never referred to her as anything else but “The Missus”.
She expected you to work hard as she did herself but treated you fairly.
The bed of Heaven to her now and I’m sure Pat waited eagerly to be reunited with her once again.

Very sad to hear this news. Such a lovely woman. Always a welcome when I visited the bakery. Never left the place hungry thats for certain. She would always make sure you were looked after. I will always keep the memories of her warm friendly ways. RIP.
