Our sincere condolences on the sudden death of Mary, to Mary's family, Ivor, Mary, Shannon, Jessica, Eva, and her cousin Breda. Also to her extended family, her "new" neighbors and many friends, both at home and abroad. Her passing feels 'way too soon.

We will miss Mary, as she was a "founding" member of our Ski Group, all those years ago. She was so full of fun and energy, with an infectious enthusiasm for encouraging and reminding one, to "put your weight on the downhill ski!"

It was good to be with Mary, both on and off the Slopes. She shared a kindness, thoughtfulness and connectedness with friends, who didn't even know they needed those things, until she appeared on their doorstep.

Mary, we thank you for being one of us. May you continue to ski along those sunny slopes of Heaven.

Mary was one of a kind and loved by all, particulary the members of Currumbin Tennis Club. She was a true friend, always happy and laughing and enjoying Queensland's sunshine whilst playing tennis and surfing. She will be sadly missed.

So saddened to hear of the passing of Mary sympathy to Ivor and all the extended o Connor family at this sad time would have known her for well over 50years when i lived in Blackrock she would call to the yard every week end and often took a day out of school to work with horses and regularly would build show jumping courses with me at various events throughout the region a highly intelligent person in all aspects of life Mary REST IN PEACE

My deepest condolences to the family on the tragic and untimely loss of Mary. I was deeply saddened to hear about her death and will miss my dear friend. She will be a great loss to everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Mary and I have been friends for over 50 years and I have countless fond memories of our school days together, our involvement with horses, the laughs and the fun. I still find it hard to believe I was only talking with her last Sunday about her trip to Australia!
Gone way too soon Mary, you had a lot more living to do! You will always be in my heart ❤

Mary was my friend for 40 years; we met when I attended UCC for a year. She taught me the beginnings of horseback riding and show jumping and I absolutely loved it….and her! Mary had so much zest for life in so many venues – the love of animals big and small, surfing, karaoke singing, tennis. Name it, Mary was involved, lending a helping hand to everyone. Her infectious laugh and big smile lit up a room. She was so looking forward to her trip to Australia on Oct. 24th. Her death comes as a shock to us all, but we will remember her life well-lived.
