Mary was a powerhouse. A woman with the capacity and ability of ten or more. She was widely and deservedly respected by all who knew her. May she be at rest now.

Margaret, I wish to convey my deepest sympathy to you on the death of Mary.
All in St Mark’s would like to express our deepest sympathies and condolences following the passing of Mary O’Connor. In her role as county secretary, Mary went above and beyond the call of duty, and was steadfast in her commitment to ladies football in Dublin. Mary was always forthcoming, kind, and at hand to offer guidance and support - she will be sadly missed by all in St Mark’s. We are thinking of Mary’s family, friends, all in St Brigid’s GAA and Dublin LGFA at this time.

Having attended only a few of county board meetings of the Dublin LGFA, Mary was always happy to help especially those of us who were new to the role and always so diligent and caring in her duties. The world of Ladies Gaelic football is certainly better for Mary’s efforts. So sorry to hear of her passing. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a hanam.

So sorry to hear the sad news of Mary’s passing. She was always so friendly and welcoming to everyone she met, and such a truly courageous lady. She’ll be very much missed. Thinking of you all at this difficult time.
