We are the son and daughter of Willie Flanagan and Kathleen(nee Carr)
Mum knew Mary well in their younger years and our Grandmother Mary Jane Carr lived over the bridge in the cottages. Mum’s brother Thomas Carr also knew Mary when other family had left for England.
Mary and other neighbours helped when Thomas was tragically killed in the river all those years ago.
May God bless you Mary and our hope you have met again with Kathleen and Doreen
