She was always a friendly and kind neighbour, ready with help and support particularly in the difficult times. While her primary dedication was family and her faith, she was also active in other areas and contributed much to life in her community. May her gentle soul rest in the peace of Heaven.

Mary and Andy were great friends of my parents, Paddy and Betty O' Sullivan. (Scartaglen, and Castleknock)

In later years, Mary would call every Saturday to have a cup of tea and say a few prayers around the kitchen table with my mother. She was a stylish, down-to-earth lady with a great sense of humour.

Condolences from all the O'Sullivan Family. Mary will be missed by so many. She is an example of a life lived fully.

I am so sorry to hear of your beloved mother Mary’s sad passing.
My sincerest and heartfelt condolences to all of you and your extension families at this very difficult time.
Another shining light has gone out in Broadway. But, it is replaced by brighter shining star in Heaven.
Your Mam was a pillar of our community. A fantastic neighbour . Kind, caring and an exemplary devoted wife and mother.
When I was a junior resident doctor in Blanchardstown hospital I had the privilege of working with Mary. And, I needn’t tell you, only for the brilliant nurses, doctors would be lost as would the patients. They taught us more than the university professors. Mary was a brilliant amazing nurse. Her nursing skills were second to none.
The loss of a precious mother who has been with you for so long leaves a great void in your lives. One that can never be filled. But, in that long life there are many happy memories. Time eases the pain, but the memories never fade.
Hers was a life well lived. May her gentle loving soul Rest in Peace united with her beloved Andy

So sorry to learn of the sad passing of Mary. Mary was a dear friend of our late mother, Dorothy in Mount Hybla. They were the best of friends and liked nothing better than a couple of glasses of wine and a chat. They also shared a wicked sense of humour and used to giggle like a couple of schoolgirls!
