I wish to express my sincere sympathy to all the O'Mahony family on the death of Mary. She was a wonderful kind woman and a good friend to my late mother Shiela Coleman. Mary will be greatly missed on Calderwood Road and in Marino Parish. May she rest in peace.

Sean and herself told me we were distant cousins and I enjoyed connecting with her a few times in Ballygar. The last sad occasion was at Sean's funeral when she seemed to be in such good health. I was touched by her big smile and her warm friendship. May she rest in peace and rise in glory. She has left a great legacy in the memories of her kind deeds.

Thinking of all of Mary's family and very many friends at this sad time. Mary was a wonderful friend to our family and I have the fondest memories of visiting as a child and Mary taking us swimming in the sea. She was so kind and fun and I will always remember her as an inspiration to me.

Mary was one of our great personalities from Mucanagh and Ballygar that we all looked forward to meeting every year when she returned there to meet and socialise with old friends and neighbours. Mary had a unique energy, she had the ability to make everyone feel special and important. As a young child the stars aligned and in 1984 Mary fell into our lives like an angel. She provided comfort, support, patience, and love that we as a family will always be grateful for. I still think about her baking weighing scales to this day. The hours of fun spent baking with us, cooking our favourite dinners, helping with our homework provided the emotional support we needed to find some form of normality after our mum died when we were so young but also as a parent myself now I know she was instrumental in giving my dad the strength to keep going. She taught me the importance of community spirit, the rewards of giving selflessly, and how to be a positive person. She has always been in my thoughts, that big smile will remain with me forever. My sincere condolences to Mary, Donal, Sean and family and also to the wider community to who Mary was so important on a day to day basis.

We are so sad that Mary has died, may she RIP.

Mary was such a good friend to our mother Kitty Dockery, to our sister Aine and to all our family. We loved the times we spent with her in our home in Sion Hill Road, in Calderwood Road, on holidays and on day trips to Wicklow.

We will miss her friendship and the warm welcome she always gave us. She was a very special kind lady.

Every year after Kitty's Mass, Mary invited all of us back for tea and pancakes. It was a wonderful gathering and I cherish the memories of them. Your mother was a lovely women, as you know and have been told. I think of her always with a smile and lovely memories. I wish God's peace to you all.

She was the most amazing neighbour to my own mother and to many other elderly neighbours over the years, full of kind words and thoughful gestures and actions of helpfulness. I loved bumping into her around Calderwood, although she was usually rushing off to her next work of mercy.
