I felt sad when i heard the news that Mary had passed away as she was a lovely lovely lady so nice and friendly to everyone. The O'Brien family were our good neighbours just over the road and the family shop was beside us in Anne Street Bailieboro our home town which we are very proud of. Her face was instantly familiar, she used to do substitute teaching in Ballapousta NS when I was at school there in the late 1990s. She was always so lovely to us, a really kind person.
