I was unsure of what to write for some time. Aunt Mary’s loss is a truly tragic one that is felt by so many who loved her very deeply. She will be missed and remembered.

I have just heard of the sad passing of Mary , my deepest sympathy to her family at this very sad time , what a beautiful lady and a brilliant camogie player , rest in peace Mary.

I was so sad and shocked to hear about Mary’s passing (unfortunately I only heard at the weekend). Mary and I had fantastic fun when we were teenagers. I have so many happy and magical memories of all the things we did together. It is hard to believe she is gone. I would like to pass on my condolences to all of her family at this devastating time. It was with profound sadness and shock that we learned of Mary’s untimely passing. We had the great honour of knowing Mary’s kind, gentle nature at Carnew Community Care where she volunteered with the Meals on Wheels service on Wednesdays and Fridays. Mary was a wonderful and very dependable volunteer who carried out her role with great diligence and brought many kind words to those receiving meals. Mary also volunteered with the Wicklow Dementia Support group on Tuesdays at their Memory Group.
Mary will be missed by all those who knew her here at Community Care including the meals recipients, our staff team and her fellow volunteers. May her gentle soul rest in peace.
