couple. I have a lovely framed photo of a group of
us who qualified for The Players number six mixed
foursomes in Ballineen. We had a great weekend
away in Dublin playing in the in the final of the
Pitch and Putt competition. They both loved

Comhbhrón ó chroí le Brendan, Helen, your families, the extended O’ Rourke and Duggan families and to everyone who knew and loved Mary. Mary was always such an interesting, kind, spiritual and charming lady. Mary was a huge part of my childhood through my Dad with all his O’ Rourke cousins. Our family shared a huge past in the days of the dancehalls through the Majestic in Mallow and the Olympic here in Newcastle West. There were always great stories shared of bands and the good old days… She and Jack were so united that we always spoke of them as a unit - “Jack’n’Mary”. She is reunited now with her beloved Jack, her Duggan and O’ Rourke families and hopefully reaping the reward, she richly deserves, of a life well lived.
