Wonderful Mary Theresa O'Shea.
From the lovely Emerald Isle,
Wherever she went,
She created many a smile;
Born in 1942,
In a place called Cashleen,
A lovely place,
On which she often did dream.

Born to Martin & Julie,
Into a big family
With a wonderful heritige,
And the name of Connoly;
She came to London in the 60's,
Met & married John O'Shea,
A wonderful musician & personality,
They were happy in every way.

John's parents were Irish,
Mum Mollie Monaghan, Dad Bat Kerry,
A wonderful family,
Jolly, cheerful & merry;
Geraldine, Martin & Shaun,
Were John & Mary's children three,
They brought them lots of happiness,
Peace, joy & glee.

They lived in London for many a year,
Recently returning to the Emerald Isle,
Bringing their infectious personalities,
Their joy & their smiles;
They settled in marvelous Meath,
Very near their daughter,
Seeing their grandchildren & living in the Emerald Isle,
Brought them much joy, happiness & laughter.

Mary's departure was very sudden,
It happened on Thursday morn,
News that to the family brought grief,
For of their wonderful Mum they were shorn;
But they know she's with her parents & relations,
With the wonderful Divine,
With lovely God,
Still making our life
journies easier, nicer & fine.

Your Mum was so kind and nice to me when I went to England in the late 80's, I couldn't have stayed with nicer people than yourselves and the fun and laughter we all used to have.
