I am so sorry to hear of Mary’s passing. I have great memories of spending time in Coololan as a kid and Mary was always so kind and always had the yummiest homemade treats. She had a big heart. Love to all the family, Anna.

Sincere sympathies to all the Purcell family. Mary was a lovely lady & so kind to my mam & dad. I was very sorry to hear she was unwell in recent years.

My deepest sympathy to the Purcell family. I had the good fortune to work as a colleague of Mary's at the Vocational School in Castledermot in the 1970s. What I remember most - and most fondly - is the laughter. She had a wonderful sense of humour but also a complete commitment to her pupils. May she rest in peace. The laughter will not be forgotten
