Mrs Rabbitte was my Brownie leader very many years ago when I was a young child. I still have beautiful memories of her kindness and warmth. She was a wonderful woman.

I am sorry the message is a bit late but I have not been living in Galway for nearly 30 years.

She was loved by all of us girls in brownies.

Mary was one of life's greatest characters, she was funny, caring , Kind, loving, she cherished her family and adored her grandchildren.

I spent half my life in Gaelcarriag park as a child, Majella, I am sure we tested your mums patience as children but she was always so kind to us all, she loved to see us call to the house and I loved my many visits.

Thinking of you all at this difficult and sad time, its just heartbreaking for you all.

It was a privilege to know Mary and she will be greatly miss by all who knew her.

May Mary Rest in Peace and may she have the best bed in Heaven.

Mary was a gentle soul, a lady, full of life and a cherished long-life friend to me. I have great memories of Mary over the years. Mary was a kind, caring, Whitty person and always up for a laugh.

It was a privilege to know Mary and she will be greatly miss by all who knew her. I am going to miss our many chats walking to and from Dunnes or Aldi.
