dear Christy, Christian, Phil and all of Marys' wonderful family and friends, I was so shocked and sad to hear about Mary's passing. I don't know how to begin - she was one of the most wonderful, generous, mischievous and kind people I've ever had the privilege of knowing. Mary helped me and so many others, in ways I will never be able to repay. She lived her life with gusto and wanted only the best for the people around her. I know her loss will affect so many people in so many ways. Her family was most important to her but so many of her friends were her family too. I'm so sorry I can't get to Dublin tomorrow, so I'm writing this to let you know I will be there in spirit to wish her a safe journey. A light has gone from the world .
