Terrance, I am so sorry to hear about your sisters passing and wanted to let you know that I will be thinking about you. Take care of yourself and your family during this very difficult time. Helen
My deepest sympathies to you all. I remember my time with Mary in Inniskeen in the 60 when we came home to Ireland for summer holidays. Keep strong
You can shed tears that she is gone
Or you can smile because she has lived
You can close your eyes and pray she will come back
Or you can open your eyes and see all she's left
Your heart can be empty because you cannot see her
Or you can be full of love that you shared
You can turn your back on tomorrow and live yesterday
Or you can be happy for tomorrow because of yesterday
You can remember her and only that she has gone
Or you can cherish her memory and let it live on
You can cry and close your mind, be empty and turn your back
Or you can do as she would want; smile, open your eyes, love, and go on .
You are all in my thoughts and prayers. Deirdre

Sincere condolences on the passing of your beloved family member.
May you see God's light on the path ahead
When the road you walk is dark.
May you always hear,
Even in your hour of sorrow,
The gentle singing of the lark.
When times are hard may hardness
Never turn your heart to stone,
May you always remember
when the shadows fall,
You do not walk alone.

Mary sought me out as a student midwife when she heard the family connection (Terence & Desiree’s niece)! She looked out for me over the last 16 years. She was one of the first to meet & hold all my babies; she’d be over to check on me shortly after delivery.
I miss bumping into Mary in the canteen or on her way home from night duty.
Taken too soon. As I watch the live stream today, my thoughts are with all of you xox

These days we expect so many people to survive cancer, It must have come as a terrible blow to have only a week to come to terms with the inevitable.
