We are so saddened to hear of Mary Teresas passing.
We have been visitors to Kenmare for many years and one of our first stops on arrival was always to call in and say ‘Hello’ !
We would be welcomed back with open arms and were made to feel so special to be back in town again !!!!
Mary Teresa was always so interested to know how everyone was getting on !
It was wonderful when she too came to ‘find’ us in Ardmore & we were able to return her welcoming ways.
We will be so sad on our next visit to Kenmare that she will be missing from Henry Street…..of which she was not just an ambassador for…..she truly was it’s ‘Queen’ !
Mary Teresa was such a wonderful powerhouse of a woman….who had a genuine interest in the wellbeing of all those she interacted with.
Her kindness & strength of character will not be forgotten.
In particular at this time….to Marna, may your Mothers wonderful strength be your strength now going forward. We will be thinking of you all & keep you all in our prayers.
May the fabulous Mary Teresa rest in peace…..& may her welcome in heaven be as warm and wonderful as her own welcome always was…..X
