I have just learned of Mary's death on the eve of her 99th birthday. What a great lady but I have known that Mary was a very special person since she came into my life in 1943 when I was just 3 years old. My mother had just died and Mary came to our house to fill the gap to 4 of us who were very broken and confused but Mary became our everything. We all loved her and I can't thank her enough for looking after us and loving us with all her heart. She got an early start at being a mam so I'm not surprised she did such a great job on her own family. My deepest sympathy to you all. Rest well Mary in the gentle arms of Jesus.
