I am so sorry to hear of dear Mary’s death and send my deepest sympathy to Niall and family. My husband Michael was especially fond of Mary and the Tierney family with whom he shared many happy memories.
May she rest in peace.
In loving memory of Mary and our close friendship with the late Priscilla Farron.who died a few months ago in Sardinia.. it was always a pleasure to meet up with Mary and I know she and Niall Niall enjoyed reading about the history of Donnybrook!

My sincere sympathy to the Tierney family. May Mary rIp.
To Tom, Nora, Sally and John,

on the occasion of your very sad loss, I send to you my sincere condolences, along with those of the other members of the Owens family. I have very strong and joy-filled memories of Mary from all of the times that I met her in Winton Road and in Donnybrook. She was always full of positive encouragement and unfailing good humour. I hope that her soul has flown to a place of eternal beauty, where she will be happy to meet those whom she loved who have gone before her and where she will patiently wait for those so dear to her heart that will follow.
What a very beautiful person and a joy to be in Mary’s company. Her gentle presence was so soothing and welcoming. She looked after her guests so generously in the beautiful atmosphere of her home. She indeed will be missed.

Dear Sally, Nora, John, Tom and family
I was very sad to hear - from Suzy who told my sister Anne- the news of Nary’s passing and it is on behalf of all my family that I send you my condolences and sympathy.
In spite of the lack of contact over the years, i have always kept very fond memories of staying with your family on several occasions. It was with you that i learnt to speak English and discover the beautiful country and Irish culture and I am grateful for that.
Mary was the first of of many contacts between our families and I remember well when she first came to stay with us. Very beautiful gentle person.
After 40 years of living in England ! I came back to France following the bad atmosphere created with Brexit… i am now based in Provence and if you come this way I would love to meet up with you.
I will join my prayers to yours for the safe journey of Mary into the Divine light.
With deep sympathy and affection.
Marie Agathe

Sincere Condolences to Niall & family on the sad & tragic loss of your beloved Mary. I went to Lesson St at age 4 & Mary followed soon after,
so I have known Mary for a substantial part of my life.
This continued thereafter when I would meet up with Mary & her cousin Miriam for the occasional lunch & going to Miriam's choir recitals.
Mary was always so pleasant to meet, so positive & gentle and had that ageless quality at never looking old or getting old.
She will be such a loss to you all. May you all be consoled in your grief.
May she rest in peace.
Our heartfelt condolences for Moira, Eoin and Patrick, and your father Niall and all of the Tierneys from Macdara and Christine and our sons in Paris.

May Mary rest In peace.
Sincere condolences to Moira, and to the Tierney and Doyle families, on the loss of Mary. A lovely lady, of keen wit, she took a lively interest in everything. She was always a great supporter of her family, and, by extension, their friends, in all of their (sometimes really out there!) projects and adventures. I enjoyed her 'post-match analysis' of the events she attended over the years-humorous and warm company, never less than inspiring, something she has passed on. It was always a pleasure to be with her, and visit the house. She will be sorely missed. Rest in power, Mary. Paula, Aquilla and Juliana.
Please accept my deepest condolences. Knut Moe

Sincere condolences to Eoin, Pat and the Tierney family at this sad time.
Mary was a typical Doyle, always so welcoming and gracious to visitors. My thoughts go out especially to John and Tom.
