She was a wonderful person with a warm sense of humour, and I hope the many cherished memories you have of Mary will bring you comfort and strength.

I am so sad to have lost such a wonderful friend in Mary. I will miss her so much in our special group of “the seven girls” who were together for so many years. Memories of your Dad singing an unforgettable rendition of ‘Teddy Bear’ at many a dinner party. Once, On a weekend in Madrid your Mum saved Paddy from pickpockets …. She spotted what they were up to! Your Mum and Dad were great friends and devoted to each other. They have been re-united, may they rest in peace 🙏🏻.

She was a fantastic Aunt - always looking for the fun in any scenario and opportunities to make a few jokes, just like Michael. I always looked forward to seeing Mary anytime I was home.

A big loss - but undoubtedly planning to cause some mischief in Heaven.

On behalf of Mam, and the rest of the family, i would like to express my sincere thanks to everyone who left a message of condolence.

Reading through them has not only been extremely comforting for us but seeing messages from the Cork Road, Rockfield Park, Wexford and Waterford and all of our friends shows the extent of the multifaceted life that she lived.

She had some very tough moments throughout her life but mostly she lived a very good and complete life wth her loving family and friends and she had LOTS of fun. Her sense of humour stayed with her until the very end and she died peacefully and comfotably.

Thanks to everyone who attended over the last couple of days. It was wonderful to meet everyone of you and hear the fantastic stories about Mam.
