Sincere condolences to all the family on the loss of Mary sent from Germany.
From 1967 to 1969, I lived with my wife Eva and our little daughter Anke in BJD. I worked at Norta Wallpapers (perhaps one or the other still remembers us). During this time we got to know a lot of nice people, included Mary, whose special, loving and cheerful nature Eva and I loved very much.
Great memories of happy days with her in BJD and in Hannover, when she visited us!
A few days ago Anke and I (Eva passed away four years ago) talked about our time in BJD and about Mary. Anke had visited Mary in Virginia during a holiday in Ireland and had been very warmly welcomed.
Anke spontanously searched the internet for Mary's address and we had to find out that she had passed away shortly before.
Even after so many years, we were totally shocked. We will always remember her fondly.
May Mary rest in peace.

So sorry to hear of Mary's passing - she was full of life and divilment. I always remember her sense of fun and irreverence as she drove a bunch of us up to St Pats on a rota. Her gifts and talents came coated in a blaze of good humour. Sincere condolences to Gavin and all the family.
