Very sorry to hear the passing of a very dear friend of mine, I had the pleasure of bringing Mary to Bhaile Mhuire. She was always in good form and very witty. She always called me corky Murphy as she knew my fathers people Will be sadly missed by all god rest your soul

Very sorry to hear of the unexpected death of my pal Mary. I enjoyed all the chats about growing up on Rock Street, the characters she knew and the history she remembered even about my own family. I hope she is resting now with her beloved Bert and Brud, who she mentioned every time I visited. My condolences to Cathy, all the family and her neighbours in the bungalows

So sorry to hear of Mary's passing. She was a lovely lady who always made us welcome in her home. Thinking of you all at this difficult time.

I visited Mary and Bert in 1995 in County Meath and again in 1998 in Tralee. I was delighted to meet them as Mary is a distant relative. My grandmother, Catherine Carroll, was from Kerry. Mary showed me how to find the old homestead. I fondly remember Berts finches. Sorry to hear of her passing. I was thinking of her just now so I googled her and found this obituary. I live in Seattle Washington. My Fitzgerald family is from Omaha.
