As a former member of Cork Flower Club I think of all the fabulous events she organised and attended always so welcoming, that Fabulous smile full of enthusiasm and energy. She definitely made a huge difference to every occasion and was so interested in everyone’s lives. A true dynamic and wonderful Lady who will always be remembered with great affection . May Matilda rest in peace

I was so sorry to learn of the passing of Matilda. She taught me in Senior Infants and I have so many lovely, warm memories of her. I bumped into her the odd time and she was always so friendly and showed genuine interest in what I was up to. She was a real lady.
