My deepest sympathy to the Moore family and all Matts relations.I got to know Matt when he and late John Hutton journeyed the highways of Donegal with the travelling Bank back in the 70s two wonderful gentleman always a smile and craic for old and young alike Lord rest their gentle souls now united again.

Very sorry to hear of Matt’s sad passing. My sincere condolences to the extended Moore family. I had the pleasure of working with Matt on the AIB mobile bank in the late 1980s and have great memories of his good humour and decency. May his gentle soul rest in peace.

Matt was a great neighbour and friend. Back in 1965 he got me my first job as a helper on the Oafield lorry that he drove. It was a great experience for a young fella like me travelling all over Ireland delivering sweets. Matt was a great educator and boss. He will be very much missed in Ard Colmcille.
