I am so sorry to see the passing of Mr Sherlock. I have very fond memories of working with him in the Glenview. He would sneak behind reception for a sweet and end up answering the phone, all the while making sure Mrs S didn’t see him while she was arranging the beautiful flowers.

So sorry to hear of Matt's passing. He was my boss at the Limerick inn from 1980 onwards for a number of years. A true professional in every way. High standards were his byword. Our condolences to Muriel and to Matthew and David. May he rest in peace.

Matthew and I grew up together for a few years in Donegal. I well remember the day your family moved to Clontarf in Tom Peoples’s large ford V8 taxi car with Matthew’s Mum Molly and her sister Bridie.
I really wanted to attend but I have to apologize as I can’t attend Matthew’s farewell Mass - I am still recovering from my stint in hospital with pneumonia.
