Condolences to all the Twomey family on the passing of Matt. Matt was one of the first people I met in the then Dublin County Council back in the day. He was a thorough gentleman and always had his staffs back. Many the lift I got from him if he saw me at the bus stop top in the morning, saving me from a possible entry in the 'late book". He had his own unique way of pronouncing my name in that lovely Cork lilt. Rest in peace Matt.
