In modern day parlance Matt would be described as an "influencer" as he, like many of his generation and area led by example. Happy to work hard but always having time for others and always time for a chat, laugh and a story when one could be sure that they left his company wiser.
A great friend and neighbour to the O'Keeffe family since they came to Grange in 1932.
