I was sad to hear of the death of my long time friend Matt. I always enjoyed his company. My sincere sympathy to all the Cusack family.

My late husband Charlie, Matt and Pat O’Brien used to meet in Gleeson’s in Booterstown to relive old times in St Pat’s school in Cavan. Charlie always came home with an extra spring in his step and all the better for meeting Matt and Pat, two of life’s true gentlemen. Both Matt and Charlie were also proud Carrigallen men. Claire, you and all the family are in our thoughts and prayers. Today and always, may your wonderful happy memories of Matt bring you peace, support and strength.
