To Bernie, Laura, Sarah, Brian & Aine and your extended family. Shocked and saddened to hear Mattie had died. Great memories of his regular visits to my Grandparents, enjoying a hot whiskey and his distinctive laugh. I pray the wonderful tributes to Mattie provide you all with some solace in these very difficult times.

Very sorry to hear about Mattie, and my sincere condolences to the Coleman Family. He was my U:14/16 and minor manager with Sligo and was always a pleasure to be around, with his positivity and enthusiasm for the team's success, along with his generosity and sponsorship to help us reach our goal.

To all The Coleman family, especially you dear Bernie.
We were so shocked and devastated to hear of loss of one of the nicest people we have had the pleasure to ever meet.
For us to have such a beautiful family, inside and out, as our next door neighbours in Moura Praia is just wonderful. Our love and thoughts are with you at this difficult time.
We will remember Mattie as a selfless man. Someone who always put his family and friends before himself. So kind ,loving and who we could always have a good laugh with. Mattie took time to listen to others and really care. He offered help and generosity wherever he could.
We will fondly remember many a night out in Vilamoura, or sat on our patios laughing from start to finish, he was always such a great company.
Although life may never be quite the same, I’m sure being the truly wonderful people you are as a family brighter days will come, and may you find much comfort in all the good times you had with Mattie.
