I have just found out about the sad passing of Maura.
My family and I met Maura and her friend Joan on holiday in Torremolinos a few years ago, in a kareoke bar.
She was the life and soul of the party, always smiling and happy.
My thoughts are with her family...what a huge loss!

We met Maura and Derek the first night we arrived in Dublin on holidays from Australia in June 2023. We had THE BEST night. Maura was so friendly so bubbly and hilarious. We all became great friends. We’ve spoken to Maura via video call and messaging so many times since then. We felt like we’d known her forever. She called us her ‘Aussie family’. We are all heartbroken, we were planning another visit next year. RIP beautiful friend. We love you so much. Sending love hugs and strength to family and friends xx

I never knew Maura’s name until I heard about her terribly sad passing.. for years we’d pass each other around phibsboro almost daily and give big waves,laughy heads and act up a little.. although we never spoke I could tell she was a character .. sincerest condolences to all her family,friends and colleagues..
