My sincere sympathy to Fiona and the Casey family on Maura's passing. Maura was a student in my music theory class for a number of years at Kylemore. She was a gentle, warm person and very much liked by staff and students. I will miss seeing her in the corridor for a quick little chat while she waited for her flute lesson.

On behalf of Sounds Ensemble, of which Maura was a member, I wish to extend our deepest sympathies to Fiona and the Casey family.

We are all devastated at Maura’s sudden death. Maura always kept in touch with her only surviving uncle Chris and was very close to all our family. Her brother David died suddenly four years ago so it is a double tragedy for the Casey family. God comfort all her loved ones xxx
