Maura always made me feel so welcome in the Hamrock homestead when I would call in to visit Mary back in the day. Maura was always either baking, cooking or sewing and giving us good advice whilst doing so. Such a good woman. May her soul rest in peace.

I was so sad to hear of Aunt Maura's passing. She was like a second mother to us growing up and I loved the wonderful, warm welcome she had when we went through the door - it always felt like we were one of her own. I can still hear her now.
