Sincere condolences to all Maura’s family.May she rest in peace.

It was just last week that I heard of Maura’s death. My condolences to all the family especially Delma, Michael and Gerard. I met Maura many years ago when we traveled together on the “old train” into Dublin to work. Maura chatted to everyone and she created a great community spirt - no mobiles in sight. She was a kind friend and support to my mother when they were neighbours. We had many joyful times back then.

Many years ago Maura took me under her wing when I became a patient of Holles Street hospital, having previously met in Lourdes. Her caring hand, gentle smile and wonderful personality contributed so much to my medical journey.
