With deepest condolences to all of Maura’s family. I first met Maura in the cardiology department of SVPH. She was such a lovely person, kind and caring. For over ten years she looked after me. I was truly shocked when I asked after her today only to learn that she had passed after a short illness. I still cannot believe it. Sending my heartfelt sympathy. Rest in peace lovely Maura.

I had the pleasure and privilege of working with Maura in the Echo Lab at NYU Medical Center in New York City. She was so sweet and wonderful to her patients and her colleagues. We not only worked together but became friends and shared many happy times outside of hospital. One of those times was meeting Willie, Maura and baby Taylor with my young son Alex to share a meal at the Copper Kettle in Sunnyside. Sweet memory. My sympathies go out to her family in this most difficult of times.

Wow, kinda what to say, the best days of my young live was with Maura & Ger. Doing things that uncle & aunty Frank & Noreen would & would not approve of… my wonderful Maura, cheeky smile, but trying to London cousins in check, you were an amazing mix of your Mother, her look, then her smile, amazing women you both were, plus your Frank & Ger… what an influence they were on me, us, your times at the stables etc… I’m sorry I couldn’t make your mass, we are all carrying our crosses, I’m sorry you have been taken from your family in a very cruel way… may I wish Will and the the kids all my love & support. Sleep easy and be brave and celebrate our lovely cousin Maura. 🫶 x
