We are sad for you at the loss of your mother. You made it possible for her to be at home until the end and that surely meant a lot. The photo of her on the site is lovely and evokes a woman with sparkle who as her brief biog indicates had a full life. May you be left with the best memories. Big hug from both of us.

I remember phone calls to Jonny when we were medical students used to have to be kept short as Maura was on call for the hospitals back in the day before mobiles.

Thinking of you, Ann Marie, and all the Hourihan family at this very sad time. Maura was such a warm and gentle person, always so kind and easy to be around. We’ll always remember her and Dermot fondly, including some of my earliest memories learning about tadpoles in their back garden.
