I met this lovely lady in St James Hospital on the ward I was working on, she had a special light about her and we had a giggle every day, ❤ she even borrowed my granny cardigan 🤣 one day when she was cold, my deepest condolences to her family and may she rest in peace. Such a lovely lady

Ray, Raymond, David,Ciaran, Mark & Paul. Three weeks on, and we are sure you are all "lost" without your dear Maura. Ray and David, it was so clear from your words at the funeral how Maura was an exemplary wife and mother, her passion for her family, her love of travel and her encouragement to you all to travel, her dedication to the GAA, her love of returning to Clare Island each year, the list endless. Sincere sympathies also to Deirdre and Valerie, who have lost a loving sister and best friend. Following a prolonged illness which Maura bore with great courage, and her fortitude to organise her own funeral, there is simply no guessing that she is now safely resting in peace.

To ray and sons and all mauras family.im so saddened to hear of mauras untimely death.we met in st James hospital in Hollywood ward.as there was no visitors due to covid we became friends.it was a tough journey but we managed some fun and light heartedness .we kept a little contact but unfortunately it was all too short.maura spoke lovingly about her family.no more pain maura rest in gods garden until we meet again.i will offer prayers for the family to bear your deep loss.
