Maura was such a warm, kind and nurturing presence throughout my life. We used to look forward so much to turkey sandwiches after school. They were made with such love. In the later years I have such fond memories having lunch and the catch-ups in the Olive tree when I was a student in Castlebar. I can't count the ways in which I was so blessed to have her in my life.

We were both so sorry to hear of Maura's passing. She was a very special lady who made such a positive impact. She will be missed and remembered dearly. Thoughts are with all her family at this difficult time.

I worked with Maura in the past in the Sacred Heart Home and she was so lovely and kind-hearted to everyone, a truly genuine person. She will be sadly missed.

I was saddened to hear of the passing of maura, she was a wonderful lady, such lovely memories of her visits with eamonn to my mum julia every other Saturday. We will never forget her kindness to us all when we cared for mum at home , maura never missed a day in the three months .
