I have fond memories of my Mam and Maura standing at the front wall chatting for hours. She was such a kind woman and she (well you all were) very generous with your understanding and patience when I was practicing my drums!

Geraldine, I am sad to hear about the death of your beloved Mam, Maura. I am full of lovely memories of her, your dad Paddy, your brother Paul and of course yourself. We had some wonderful times together in P.A.M when she was reluctantly looking for a permanent place for Paul. She enriched my life hugely. I loved her wry sense of humour, her fine singing voice and her passion for you all. You are a wonderful daughter, a chip of the old block and it has not been easy for you. Warm and deep sympathy to you, and also to Maura's family and friends. Her life's work well done, may she be at peace now.
